A Short History About Our Society

The Beaufort County Genealogical Society was founded in 1985 by a group of people interested in preserving and sharing family histories. The Society meets the first Tuesday night of each mounth at 7:00 p.m. in the North Carolina History Room at the Brown Library. Individual membership fee is $10.00 annually and Family (2 members at one address) membership fee is $15.00 annually. Membership is on a calendar year, from January 1 to December 31. Membership includes two issues of Pamteco Tracings and two free queries per year.
